Choose the riding level that really suits you

Our programmes each require a different level of riding. It is therefore important to be honest about your experience. By choosing a tour that suits your level, you get the most out of your trip and we ensure safety and fun for you and the horse.

Beginner

You have little to no riding experience. Maybe you've been on a horse a few times.

Novice

You have had lessons and can mount and dismount independently. You know the basic aids: riding forward, steering and coming to a standstill. You have experience of trotting and galloping on well-trained horses, but do not yet feel completely stable in the saddle.

Intermediate

You are confident, stable and fully in control on a well-trained horse, in all gaits, from walk to a fast canter. You also feel comfortable in open terrain and changing landscapes.

Advanced

You have years of experience, excellent balance and feel confident on almost any type of horse, including outdoors and in challenging situations. You can deal with temperamental horses and effortlessly stay in a lightened seat during longer gallops. You ride with an independent seat and gentle hand. You are fit and can spend several hours a day in the saddle.
